UW-Eau Claire freshman awarded Lansing ScholarshipSeptember 25, 2013
EAU CLAIRE — UW-Eau Claire freshman Dominic Craig, West Allis, has been awarded the Tom and Karen Lansing Scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year.
The scholarship, funded through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, was established by UW-Eau Claire alumnus Thomas Lansing and his wife Karen, and is awarded to an incoming freshman who demonstrates significant financial need.
First preference is given to descendants of the Lansings' parents — Richard and Ann Lansing, and Francis Markotic. Secondary preference is given to students from West Allis High School; those from Prentice or Phillips; or Price County. The scholarship is renewable for one year with an overall freshman GPA of 3.0 or higher.
UW-Eau Claire is consistently recognized as one of the nation's best educational values. U.S. News & World Report magazine recently named UW-Eau Claire among the best public regional universities in the Midwest.
