Student health insurance available for purchase through Oct. 15September 4, 2013
EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Student Senate invites new and returning students to consider the 2013-14 UW-Eau Claire student health insurance plan. Students may apply for insurance through Oct. 15, and coverage runs through Aug. 29, 2014.
For students under 25, the cost is $1,334, which can be paid in three installments. For students who are 26 and older, the cost is $1,742, which also can be paid in three installments.
Other rates apply for spouse and family coverage.
Students may stop by the Student Senate office in Room 220 of Davies Center or visit the Student Senate website for information about eligibility and enrollment.
The student health insurance program is provided by the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate through insurance agent Donald Southard Sr. of Southard Insurance Agency and underwritten by Nationwide Life Insurance Co.
