Continuing Education to offer advanced wound care program Nov. 6-8

WoundstockEAU CLAIRE —University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education is accepting registrations for "Woundstock — Advanced Wound Care Education," a three-day program designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physicians and physician assistants. The event, to be held Nov. 6, 7 and 8 at The Florian Gardens in Eau Claire, is co-sponsored by the OakLeaf Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center.

  • Nov. 6: 8 a.m.-5 p.m., focusing on advanced wound debridement. The cost to attend is $349 for registrations received by Oct. 6 and $369 after that date.
  • Nov. 7: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., focusing on advanced wound management, nutrition, psychosocial, ulcers, atypical wounds and advanced wound therapies. The cost to attend is $179 for registrations received by Oct. 6 and $199 after that date.
  • Nov 8: full-day, hands-on skills lab, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $179 for registrations received by Oct. 6 and $199 after that date.
