Continuing Education to offer outdoor adventure programs for youthMarch 8, 2013
EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension is accepting registrations for the following 2013 youth adventure programs:
- Chippewa Valley Adventure Camp for ages 8-12 will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. April 27 in Durand. The $69 fee includes roundtrip bus transportation between Eau Claire and Round Hill, instruction, equipment use and lunch. Parents are invited to attend at no additional cost. Activities include archery, fishing, rifle range use and more.
- Bio Adventure Camp for ages 11-15 will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 8-12 at UW-Eau Claire's Phillips Science Hall and various field trip sites. The $235 fee includes instruction, equipment use and field trip transportation. Activities focus on animal and plant life in local waters and woods. Field trips include canoeing, hiking, snorkeling and more.
