YouthTransitionConferenceEAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education, in partnership with area disability specialists, educators and advocates, will present the fourth annual Youth Transition Conference from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. March 21 on the UW-Eau Claire campus.

Designed for teens and young adults with disabilities, their families, educators and transition professionals, the conference addresses concerns young people with disabilities face as they transition from high school to adulthood.

Participants may choose from 35 sessions on topics such as employment, postsecondary education, life skills, community resources, money management and assistive technology. More than 20 exhibitors from area nonprofit agencies, state agencies and service providers will be on hand to share information.

The cost is $5 for youth, young adults, family members, caregivers and chaperones; and $35 for service providers and transition professionals. The registration fee includes all sessions and handouts, continental breakfast, lunch and snacks. Early registration is recommended as some sessions have limited space.
