Guest artist recital Nov. 6 to feature pianist Robert Satterlee

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will present a guest artist recital featuring pianist Dr. Robert Satterlee at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in Gantner Concert Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

Satterlee will perform "Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue" by J.S. Bach, "Variations and Fugue in E flat major, Op. 35 ('Eroica')" by Ludwig van Beethoven and Sonata in B minor by Franz Liszt.

Satterlee is an accomplished and versatile solo recitalist and chamber musician who has performed throughout the world. A faculty member at Bowling Green State University in Ohio for more than a decade, Satterlee also teaches at Interlochen Arts Camp and the Saarburg International Music Festival in Germany. He previously taught in Illinois, Missouri, California and Connecticut.

Satterlee has toured the West Coast with the North Coast Chamber Players, a string/winds mixed ensemble. He also has been featured at the Piano Plus Festival and the Corfu Festival in Greece and has performed in Thailand, Sweden, China, Kenya and Holland.
