Parking to be restricted during street-sweeping near campus Nov. 1-16
October 29, 2012EAU CLAIRE — The City of Eau Claire will sweep streets Nov. 1-16 in neighborhoods near the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Temporary parking restrictions will be enforced along affected routes. View the street-sweeping schedule.
Temporary no-parking signs will be placed along affected streets 24 hours in advance of sweeping operations. Sweeping will occur between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Any vehicles parked in temporary no-parking areas will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. The fine for a vehicle left in a no-parking area is approximately $30, and the cost for retrieving a vehicle from the towing company is approximately $50 plus storage costs, according to Eau Claire street maintenance staff.
