Donation drive collects supplies, more than $1,300 for students displaced by apartment fire
October 15, 2012EAU CLAIRE — Just over $1,300 in monetary donations, two laptop computers, two televisions, clothing, school supplies and groceries were collected Oct. 10-12 during an on-campus donation drive in support of the two surviving University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students displaced by an Oct. 8 apartment fire that killed two of their roommates (see related media memo).
The donation drive was sponsored by the Student Services Commission of the UW-Eau Claire Student Senate.
