EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student Roxanne Accola, a junior from Sauk City, is the recipient of the Classified Staff Student Scholarship for the 2012-13 academic year.
The $500 scholarship is awarded to one student per academic year. Nominations for the award come from UW-Eau Claire employees and retirees.
To qualify, students must be nominated by a UW-Eau Claire employee or retiree, have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be enrolled as a full-time student. Freshmen qualify for the award with no grade-point requirement.
Accola is a physics major with minors in mathematics and pre-professional health sciences. Roxanne Muldoon, who works in Learning and Technology Services, nominated Accola for the award.
