SUBJECT: Vice President Joe Biden Sept. 13 appearance at UW-Eau Claire
An appearance on the UW-Eau Claire campus today by Vice President Joe Biden continues a long, nonpartisan tradition at the university of fostering political discourse through candidate appearances and debates. Vice President Biden’s appearance is being hosted by UW-Eau Claire's College Democrats student organization.
The last sitting vice president to visit UW-Eau Claire was Dan Quayle in 1992.
UW-Eau Claire Interim Chancellor Gilles Bousquet will be available from 9:30-10 a.m. this morning in Zorn Arena to talk to members of the media regarding Biden's appearance on campus.
