Advanced wound care program to be offered through UW-Eau Claire Continuing EducationAugust 2, 2012
EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education is accepting registrations for "Woundstock — Advanced Wound Care Education," a two-day program designed for nurses, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, physicians and physician assistants. The event, to be held Oct. 11 and 12 at The Florian Gardens in Eau Claire, is co-sponsored by the OakLeaf Advanced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center.
The Oct. 11 program runs from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and will focus on lower extremity wound management, vascular assessment, ulcers, podiatry, atypical wounds and advanced wound therapies. The cost to attend is $179 for registrations received by Sept. 11 and $199 after that date.
The Oct. 12 options are a full day (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) focused on advanced wound debridement or a half-day (8 a.m.-noon) hands-on skills lab. The cost to attend the full day program is $349 for registrations received by Sept. 11 and $369 after that date. The cost to attend the half-day skills lab is $49 for registrations received by Sept. 11 and $69 after that date.
