EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension will offer "Healing Touch HTI Certificate Program — Level One" from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. June 22-23 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. The program is designed for registered nurses, health care professionals, body-oriented therapists, psychotherapists, licensed health care professionals and individuals, and lay persons who desire to study energy therapy.
Healing Touch is a nursing intervention that supports the overall balance and nurturance of body, mind, emotion and spirit. Dr. Sue Peck, the program instructor and a professor of nursing at UW-Eau Claire, teaches the use of complementary therapies integrated into the care of patients with chronic illnesses.
The fee to attend is $279 per person ($299 after June 1) and includes program materials, beverages and contact hour credits. More information about obtaining contact hour credits is available online.
