UW-Eau Claire students to host community event for people with disabilities April 27
April 26, 2012EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Student Council for Exceptional Children will host a social event from 4-6 p.m. April 27 at the Birch Pavilion in Carson Park.
Community members with disabilities are invited to celebrate the end of the school year with members of UW-Eau Claire's SCEC student organization.
Food will be provided and a variety of games will be played.
"We would like to continue making connections in our community," Brittany Charlton, SCEC member, said of the community event, which is geared toward people at the high-school age level and above.
The event is free and open to the public.
