Registration opens for online exporting program

Export expert Bonnie J. Anderson, an international trade consultant with WTH International Services LLC, will focus on one topic during each of the ten lessons. Topics will include due diligence; purchase orders and contracts; Incoterms; export regulations; Re-exports; the deemed export rule and control classifications of products; technical data, technology and software as exports; exporting licensing; U.S. embargoes and sanctions; restrictive trade practices; the Harmonized System origin determination requirements; marking products for export; and determining the value of an export.
The program fee is $399 and includes monthlong program access and downloadable learning activities. The program is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center at UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education, which is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The Northern Wisconsin International Trade Association also is a sponsor.
