Make-A-Wish benefit concert set for April 5 at UW-Eau Claire
April 4, 2012EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students will host a Make-A-Wish benefit concert at 7 p.m. April 5 in Schofield Auditorium. The concert will feature music by Audacious, Beacon James, Daniel and the Lion, Fifth Element and Gary & The Schwartzhoffs.
Highlighting the evening is a seven-year-old Eau Claire boy named Grayson, who recently had his wish to go to the Disney World Resort granted. A representative from the Make-A-Wish Foundation will join Grayson on stage to discuss the mission of the organization and provide information about how donated funds are used. Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children who have life-threatening conditions.
Donations are highly encouraged at the benefit concert, which is a Leadership Circles project sponsored by the Activities, Involvement and Leadership office of the University Centers.
