Guitarist Jeffrey Jaworski to present guest artist recital

EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will host a guest artist recital featuring guitarist Jeffrey Jaworski at 2 p.m. April 1 in Phillips Recital Hall of the Haas Fine Arts Center.

Jaworski, a frequent performer in the Chippewa Valley area, maintains a private studio at the Eau Claire Music School. Recent and upcoming performances include solo programs in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire. He has been featured with the Master Singers of Eau Claire on Wisconsin Public Radio. Jaworski studied classical guitar at UW-Waukesha and UW-Green Bay.

The recital will open with "Prelude in D" by J.S. Bach followed by Fernando Sor's "Sicilienne" and Francisco Tárrega's "Rosita, Polka."

Jaworski will continue with "Fifteen Preludes" by Francisco Tárrega, and will close with "Danza Española No. 5" by Enrique Granados.

The guest artist recital is free and open to the public.
