| Catherine Emmanuelle |
Emmanuelle's presentation will focus on her experiences while pursuing higher education, advice for claiming your education and how the "infectious dance beats and cutting raps" of the group TLC encourage educational attainment and autonomy.
Emmanuelle graduated from the UW-Eau Claire in December 2011 with a bachelor's degree in women's studies. She attended NEW Leadership Wisconsin in June 2008, an annual program that teaches college women the value of civic engagement and encourages them to see themselves as empowered leaders who can participate in politics and public policy.
This year's Women's History Month theme is "Women's Education, Women's Empowerment."
Emmanuelle's lecture is free and open to the public.
