Ceramics class for adults offered by UW-Eau Claire Continuing Education

 Ceramics
EAU CLAIRE — Registration is now open for "Discovering Ceramics," a hands-on class offered through University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education. The class, which is for adults of all ability levels, will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 12-28, in UW-Eau Claire's Haas Fine Arts Center.

Wheel-throwing, hand-building techniques, and functional and sculptural concepts will be covered during the class. Students will experiment with slip applications, glaze methods and various surface designs. Molly Uravitch, a senior lecturer in the UW-Eau Claire art & design department, will be the instructor.
