Continuing Education to offer GEMS youth programs

- April 21: "Making Waves: Music and the Science of Sound," (physics).
- May 19: "The Shocking World of Fish," (biology).
The GEMS program brings science and math to life for students in grades four through eight. Led by dynamic university faculty, each workshop explores a different area of scientific discovery through experiments, demonstrations and hands-on activities. Parents are welcome to stay and learn alongside their children at no additional cost.
The fee for each GEMS workshop is $15 per student. On-site registration will be offered as space allows. Call before 3 p.m. the Friday before the workshop to check on space availability.
