Guest artist recital featuring three early music specialists set for March 6

Each member of the trio is considered a world-renowned leading artist in the field of early music. The guest artists will be joined by UW-Eau Claire faculty members Dr. Tim Lane, professor of music, and Dr. Tulio Rondón, assistant professor of music.
The recital "is not only a great treat but a fantastic and rare opportunity for our students and community alike," Rondón said.

Ogg, Hazelzet and Linden will lead master classes while at UW-Eau Claire. A baroque cello and viola da gamba master class with Linden will be held at 3:30 p.m. March 5, and a flute master class with Hazelzet will be held at 2 p.m. March 6, both in Phillips Recital Hall. Ogg will work with the UW-Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra at 2 p.m. March 6 in Gantner Concert Hall. All of the master classes are free and open to the public.

The March 6 guest artist recital is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the recital is part of the Early Music Artist Series.
