The Bridge Campus-Community Coalition is a partnership between UW-Eau Claire and the greater Eau Claire community. The partnership seeks to address and reduce underage and high-risk drinking behaviors and associated negative experiences through education, enforcement and environmental changes.
"I think we've done a good job taking a proactive approach with the Bridge Campus-Community Coalition in working toward making Eau Claire a better place," said Jennifer Lee, director of UW-Eau Claire's Center for Alcohol Studies and Education.| Julia Sherman, guest speaker at the 2012 Bridge Summit at UW-Eau Claire, also will speak on campus earlier on March 1 when she presents "Overexposed: How Much Acohol Advertising Do Students See and Who Is Picking up the Tab?" at 12:30 p.m. in Schofield Auditorium. See related news release. |
The Bridge Summit agenda includes countywide efforts and initiatives, campus initiatives, and incident and crime data, as well as an open forum for idea and information sharing.
The Bridge Summit and presentation is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Jennifer Lee at 715-836-5110 or leejs@uwec.edu.
