UW-Eau Claire literacy program to host Dr. Seuss party at Flynn Elementary March 3
February 20, 2012EAU CLAIRE — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire ECLIPSE program will present a birthday celebration in honor of Dr. Seuss at an Eau Claire elementary school.
The celebration will run from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. March 3 at Flynn Elementary School.
The event, intended for families with children ages 3-6, is free and open to the public. Activities will include literacy games, literacy crafts, storytelling, face painting and more.
ECLIPSE — Early Childhood Literacy Intervention Program, Services and Evaluation — is an AmeriCorps program that focuses on early childhood literacy in Eau Claire and Altoona.
The Dr. Seuss event is a collaborative effort between ECLIPSE and the Eau Claire Area School District's early learning program.
