Continuing Education to offer outdoor adventure programs for youthJanuary 4, 2012

EAU CLAIRE — University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing Education/UW-Extension is now accepting registrations for the following outdoor adventure programs for youth:
- "Youth Archery Workshops" for ages 9-16 will be held at the UW-Eau Claire Environmental Adventure Center. Date options are Session 1 — Jan. 28 and Feb. 4; or Session 2 — Feb. 11 and Feb. 18. Time options are 9-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-noon. The cost is $30 per person and includes two 90 minute sessions.
- "Chippewa Valley Adventure Camp" for ages 8-12 will be held from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. May 12 at Round Hill in Durand. The cost is $69 per person and includes roundtrip bus transportation between Eau Claire and Round Hill, all instruction and equipment as well as lunch and snacks. Parents are invited to attend at no additional cost.
- "Bio Adventure Camp" for ages 11-15 will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 9-13 at Phillips Science Hall at UW-Eau Claire and various field trip sites. The cost is $149 per person and includes all instruction, materials and field trip transportation.
