Adult Student Welcome

All Day Session - Friday, August 22nd, 8:45am to 3:00 pm
*Evening Session - Tuesday, August 26th, 5:00 to 7:00 pm

If you are a new or transfer student you will be required to attend an orientation session. However, the Adult Student Welcome is a separate, additional program specifically for nontraditional students who may be new to the university, readmitted or transferring in.  We will acquaint you with services and opportunities for nontraditional students at UW-Eau Claire.

A typical agenda includes:

  • Adult Student Adviser:  Tips & Resources
  • Library Information & Tour
  • Campus Technology---you'll need to know this---UWEC email, D2L, My Blugold CampS.
  • Lunch with current nontraditional students for Q&A.

Other Options While on Campus:

  • Veteran Services, S 128, with Miranda Cross-Schindler, Military Education Benefits Coordinator
  • Get student ID - Find Your Classrooms
  • Pick up Textbooks - Parking Permit
  • Last minute questions with Bonnie in OASIS
  • Anything else that needs to be finalized

*The Evening Session will be a condensed program with campus information with  the Nontraditional Student Adviser, Q & A with current nontraditional students, and a campus tour.
