might be an option.
Attend a brief informational session with the Adult Student Adviser
Monday, January 26th
or Tuesday, January 27th

If you are a new or transfer student you will be required to attend an orientation session. However, the Adult Student Welcome is a separate, additional program specifically for nontraditional students who may be new to the university, readmitted or transferring in.  We will acquaint you with services and opportunities for nontraditional students at UW-Eau Claire.


  • 11:45 am - 12:00 noon  Check in
  • 12:00 - 1:00 pm  Adult Student Adviser:  Tips & Resources
  • 1:00 - 1:45 pm  Campus Technology---you'll need to know this---UWEC email, D2L, My Blugold CampS
  • 2:00 - 2:45 pm   Library Information & Tour
  • 2:45 - 3:00 pm  Wrap-up with Adult Student Adviser
  • 3:00 - 3:30  Optional tour of Davies Center

 Other Options While on Campus:

  • Veteran Services, S 128, with Miranda Cross-Schindler, Military Education Benefits Coordinator
  • Get student ID - Find Your Classrooms
  • Pick up Textbooks - Parking Permit
  • Last minute questions with Bonnie
  • Anything else that needs to be finalized
