GEN 100:  Foundations for Academic Success

GEN 100 is a 1-credit General Elective course designed specifically to assist adult students make the most of their return to the university and lay a solid groundwork for continued success.

Course topics include:

  • How to Use the Library
  • Where to go for Technology Support
  • Time Management Tips
  • Increase Academic Self-Confidence and Succeed on Tests
  • Improve Study Strategies
  • Math Anxiety & Study Tips
  • How to Write College Papers
  • Campus Resources
  • Understanding University Degree Requirements
  • And much more!

Pre-assignment permission is required.  Class size is limited to 25 students.
