Eligibility: Open to students who are U.S. service veterans with a Science Education major in biology, chemistry, or physics and planning to teach after graduation. Students should have a major GPA of at least 3.0 or above. If no veteran in need of financial assistance is available, an immediate family member (spouse, child) of a veteran shall be considered to be eligible to apply for the scholarship. Application materials are available in the appropriate departmental office (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics & Astronomy).
Award: $6,000        
Number Awarded Yearly: One

Kyle Morrison Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Applicants must be currently serving or have served in any branch of the military.  If they had previous military service, they must have been honorably discharged.  Students who demonstrate strong character and show great potential, especially as leaders and students, shall be given preference.  Financial need may be a consideration in the selection but is not the primary consideration. Contact Miranda Cross-Schindler, Military Education Benefits Coordinator, at 836-5912 for more information. 
Award: up to $1,000 (may be renewed for a second year if recipient demonstrates continued academic progress)

Richard T. Nuske Memorial Scholarship
Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc. – Wisconsin State Council
Eligibility: To be eligible the applicant must interview a US Vietnam Veteran, with extra points assigns to those who are a descendant or relative of a US Vietnam Veteran. Must be attending an accredited Wisconsin school. For an application contact Nontraditional Student Services at S 226, or call 715-836-3529.

Family Scholarship for Wisconsin Veterans Fund
Eligibility:
To be eligible the applicant must be a Wisconsin resident, enrolled full-time, a veteran of the Armed Forces, accepted into a program related to a healthcare field, and in good academic standing.  Financial need will be considered, and a copy of DD214 must be attached.  Applications are available at Nontraditional Student Services, Schofield 226.

Eligibility:
