Written by Shakespeare around 1598, this comedy revolves around the characters of Beatrice and Benedict, two intelligent, articulate and funny characters who are as quick to attack each other with words as they are to fall in love with each other. This play, made popular by the film starring Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branaugh, will come to life onstage at UW-Eau Claire in May. Filled with trickery, disguises, misperceptions and a happy ending, Much Ado About Nothing is a perfect way to spend a night at the theatre.
