Following the Chicago World’s Fair of 1893, Detective Frank P Geyer investigates a suspicious death. With the possibility of insurance fraud, Geyer delves into the case, leaving no stone unturned. The more he investigates, the more mysterious the case becomes. Hard-nosed Geyer eventually discovers a truth bigger than he’d fathomed, uncovering one of the most tragic crimes in American history. Based on a true story, The Holmes-Pitezel Case premieres on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s mainstage.
