Participation in the UW-Eau Claire Band program is open to interested and qualified UW-Eau Claire students regardless of major area of study. Membership in the Wind Symphony and Symphony Band is determined by audition: however, auditions are not required to participate in the University Band or Blugold Athletic Band.
Auditions for Wind Symphony and Symphony Band are conducted every semester during the first week of classes, and audition materials are available from each applied faculty member. For specific audition information on your instrument (how to get audition materials and when auditions are held), contact the appropriate UW-Eau Claire applied wind and percussion faculty member in your performance area.
