Salute to the Big Band Era and Tony Bennett

UW-Eau Claire's jazz ensembles and guest vocalists put on the university's annual Big Band Era Concerts Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22 and 23, 2006, in Zorn Arena. Alumnus Michael Andrew performed numbers made popular by renowned jazz vocalist Tony Bennett. Bob Baca, UW-Eau Claire's director of jazz studies, led members of Jazz Ensemble I while Jeffery Crowell directed Jazz Ensemble II in a battle of the bands.
