In conjuction with the 41st Annual UW-Eau Claire Jazz Festival, there will be a month long schedule of jazz performances in venues around Eau Claire. In addition to the UW-Eau Claire Jazz Festival concerts, experience the great talent that makes up the five time Down Beat Award winning Jazz Esemble I and other jazz musicians in the area with more Jazz in the Valley. “Triple Play” is the name given to three outstanding and versatile musicians: Peter “Madcat” Ruth (on harmonica, guitar, jaw harp,percussion and vocals), Joel Brown (folk and classical acoustic guitarand vocals) and Chris Brubeck (electric bass, bass trombone,piano and vocals). Collectively they bring a rare level of joy, virtuosity, and American spirit to the folk, blues, jazz, funk and classical music they perform. Sponsored by the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center.
