Barbara Wimunc-Pearson, Professor of Piano, has maintained an active performing career as chamber ensemble artist, collegial collaborator and recitalist. She has been heard on live radio broadcasts in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan, and presented programs with the support of grants from the Wisconsin Arts Board. Her degrees include a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, a Master of Music from Northwestern University, and Bachelor of Music degree from Rosary College. She frequently adjudicates competitions sponsored by the Wisconsin and Minnesota Music Teachers Associations. Dr. Wimunc-Pearson's special interests include collaborative musicianship and performing arts medicine. She has been on the faculty at UW-Eau Claire since 1981.
