Attendance: Trombone Ensemble/Studio Class is required for all majors and highly recommended for all minors.  All classes are required.  Your grade will be lowered half a letter for each class missed.  Be punctual, it will effect your grade. 

 

Course Outline: Primarily, this class will be a performing group.  On occasion, trombone ensemble will be a studioclass set-up, where students will be given an opportunity to play for their classmates.  All majors will be required to play at least once in studio class setting per semester.  During studio class we also create orchestra sections, complete with tuba... please contact me if you wish to have a section play at studio class.  Minors are strongly encouraged.  This will be an excellent primer for you jury!

 

Grades: The following factors will contribute towards your lesson grade: overall musical progress, regular practice, preparation and attendance.  Attendance at performances and dress rehearsals is required.
