Band Auditions

Participation in the UW-Eau Claire Band program is open to interested and qualified UW-Eau Claire students regardless of major area of study. Membership in the Wind Symphony and Symphony Band is determined by audition: however, auditions are not required to participate in either the University Band or Blugold Marching Band. Audition information is available through each applied wind and percussion faculty member during the academic advising period, which is the week preceding the start of classes during the fall semester.  Faculty members conduct auditions during the first week of classes during the fall semester and during the final week of classes during the fall semester for band placement in the spring.  For specific audition information, contact the appropriate UW-Eau Claire applied wind and percussion faculty member in your performance area.
