To provide leadership in creating a welcoming and and supportive campus environment for students from ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
Our mission is accomplished by enhancing four core multicultural student values:
- (L)eadership Development
- (E)quity, Diversity, and Inclusiveness (EDI)
- (E)ducational Goals
- (P)ersonal Goals
The Office of Multicultural Affairs will strive for merit in excellence by providing exceptional
student services that result in an increased presence and participation of students of color
in all academic, social, and personal endeavors at UW-Eau Claire. OMA staff will enhance
self-image of students of color by facilitating respect for and an appreciation of the rich history tradition, and culture of ethnically diverse students and groups.
