Graphics

We have moved!LTS Graphics is now located on first floor of the Old Library (OL 1117). Stop by and see our new outlook on campus!

The Graphics unit of LTS Media Production supports the University by producing a variety of instructional materials for classroom use. These materials range from original art work to images for presentation graphics to various combinations of multimedia (images, video, audio), including that for Web use. Often there is a team relationship established between the Graphics staff and the instructor as content expert.

The Graphics unit staff also trains faculty and staff on the use of presentation graphics software, digital cameras and image manipulation software as faculty create some of their own curricular multimedia and Web images. The workshops include design tips for presentations and for working with images on the Web. Check out documentation created for issues involved with incorporating digital images in PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator.

In support of Faculty/Student Research Day, the Graphics unit sponsors an annual poster design session. In collaboration with the Photography division, we have an informational page on creating posters that has many good tips on design and also pertinent specifications on file types, sizes and turn around time for printing.
