1st Place

Class AAA

Class AAA First Place
In the large school division, AAA, the Discrete Fleet from Eau Claire Memorial was the first place winner. The Discrete Fleet team, sponsored by Mark Slepica, featured Nolan Kriener, Thomas Kokemoor, Patrick Lam, Brianna Nicolet, Sam Swanson, and Noah Williams.

Class AAA First Place

In the medium school AA division team event, a Stanley-Boyd team, Zahlen, took first place. Sponsored by Erika Koenig, the Zahlen members include Alex Hebert, Neil Hebert, Anthony Kirckof, Tyler Mahal, Lindsey Sorensen, and Joey Stuettgen.

Class A First Place
The Mad Science Academy, a team from the Math & Science Academy in Woodbury, Minnesota, took first place honors in the small school division A. Allison Crump, Cindy Engman, Steven Hartz, Kyle Osborne, Aren Siekmeier, and Matt Tianen formed the team with Lauren Zachman as team sponsor.

 

2nd Place

Class AAA

Class AAA Second Place
The Eau Claire Memorial team, Deriving Force, sponsored by Deb Smeija took second place. Team members include Casey Bresser, Luke Dovre, Kaitlin Forke, Katelyn Johnston, Mark Van De Loo, and Elizabeth Westendorf.

Class AA

Class AA Second Place
Taking second place in Class AA was Fireheads, a team from Somerset High School sponsored by Richard Thompson. David Blair, Luke Buerkley, Michael Meyers, Geoff Oehme, Mack Ott, and Johanna Smith comprised the Firehead team.

Class AA

Class AA Second Place
Viroqua Vectors from Viroqua High School also took second place, tying the Fireheads. Sponsored by John Lendosky, the Viroqua Vectors included Megan Johnson, Julie Mulvaney-Kemp, Andrew Nordberg, Adam Sordahl, Joe Tunks, and Katie Wendorf.

Class A Second Place
Second place in division A went to Regis High School team, Fractured Factorials. The team, sponsored by Sam Jackson, included Mahmoud Ahmed, Brian Farley, Matt Fialkowski, Jackie Kapla, Heekyung Lim, and Dan-ni Lin.

 

Individual Awards

1st Place

Class AAA

Noah Williams
Noah Williams of Eau Claire Memorial took first place in Class AAA individual honors and was offered a UW-Eau Claire scholarship for 4-credit hours.

Class AA

Anthony Kirckof
Anthony Kirckof of Stanley-Boyd High School took first place in Class AA individual honors. He was offered a 4-credit hour scholarship.

Class A

First place and a 4-credit hour scholarship to UW-Eau Claire in the individual awards for small schools, division A, was earned by Heekyung Lim of Regis High School.

 

2nd Place

Class AAA

Elizabeth Westendorf
Elizabeth Westendorf of Eau Claire Memorial High School took second place and was offered a 3-credit hour UW-Eau Claire scholarship.

Class AA

Alexander Davis
Alexander Davis of Altoona High School took second place and was offered a 3-credit hour scholarship.

Class A

Kyle Osborne
Kyle Osborne, a student from the Math & Science Academy in Woodbury received a 3-credit hour scholarship for second place in Class A.

 

3rd Place

Class AAA

Brianna Nicolet, from Eau Claire Memorial High School, took third place and was offered a 2-credit hour UW-Eau Claire scholarship.

Class AA

Katie Wendorf of Viroqua High School was offered a 2-credit hour scholarship for placing thirdin Class AA.

Class A

Allison Crump of the Math & Science Academy, Woodbury, placed third and received a 2-credit hour scholarship.

 

4th Place

Class AAA

Kevin Parker from Eau Claire Memorial High School, took fourth place and was offered a 1-credit hour UW-Eau Claire scholarship.

Class AA

Fourth Place in Class AA when to Somerset High School student, Johanna Smith. She was offered a 1-credit hour scholarship.

Class A

Elizabeth Meinen of McDonell High School captured fourth place and a 1-credit hours scholarship to UW-Eau Claire.

 

5th Place
