 Central Campus Mall

Campus Mall
The centerpiece of the Central Campus Mall is a four-faced 1890s-style street clock, installed when the mall was created in 1986.

UW-Eau Claire's Central Campus Mall (which replaced the Schofield Hall parking lot in 1986) is a landscaped area with grass, trees, flowers, benches and a network of sidewalks linking all the buildings of lower campus to each other and to the footbridge. This popular campus meeting place, often the site of outdoor concerts and other events, is known for its two landmarks: the bronze "Sprites" sculpture, which was moved from the Haas Fine Arts Center, and the 3,000-pound four-faced bronze 1890's-style street clock.
