Decide What You Need

Complete database descriptions can be found on the GPO ACCESS site. Because there are more than 30 GPO ACCESS databases, it helps to narrow your search before beginning. Your results will be improved if you limit your search to selected databases, such as the Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, U.S. Code, or the Congressional databases. In many cases knowing the date of the requested information will help to select the correct database.
