The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.  All of the Caldecott Medal award winners are located in the Children’s Book Collection (CBC) in the Instructional Media Center (IMC) on the lower level. Unless otherwise noted, all items will be shelved alphabetically by author’s last name in the CBC Easy (E) section. Click on the titles for easy access to the library's catalog to make sure that book is available.
