Books & AV Materials Requests

The Library welcomes suggestions for books, journals, media, electronic media, microforms, and journal backfiles. The Library reserves the right to make all decisions on what to purchase but will try to fulfill as many appropriate requests as possible.

Please check the online catalog to verify that the Library does not already own this item before submitting a recommendation for purchase.

Who should use this form?
UW-Eau Claire students, faculty, or staff members who want to recommend that the University library purchase a book or other material. Use the Journal Recommendation Form to recommend that the library subscribe to a journal or periodical.

What happens after I submit this form?
Upon receipt of this form, the Collection Development Librarian will review and respond to your request via email, if requested. If you would like to receive an email response, please note this on the request form or call the Collection Development Librarian at (715) 836-6032.
