High Impact Practices for Faculty/Staff

Get Involved with Student Success

The success of UW-Eau Claire students is due to the exceptional creativity and expertise of our over 450 faculty and instructional academic staff in partnership with our experienced staff within Student Affairs who attend to daily living and co-curricular needs.

There are many opportunities for faculty and staff to participate in the enhancement of our students' success. Click on any one of the following links to find information and get involved in one of our many Liberal Education Initiatives, Connected Advising, or Faculty Development Offerings. Many initiatives have an application process and are reviewed by their respective committees for comment and acceptance.

Work on "closing the loop" on meeting student learning outcomes by getting involved in one of several assessment initiatives.

There are also abundant resources available to get you started in exploring options for advancing pedagogies.

Liberal Education Initiatives

Become involved in one of many liberal education initiatives available that expand the high impact practices available to our students.

Check out the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) for current offerings in faculty and staff development that support these initiatives.
