Manage Dates

Description

Manage Dates allows instructors to view, edit and offset date availability in D2L course tools including Content modules and topics, Discussion forums and topics, Dropbox folders, Grade items, News items, and Quizzes in their courses.

Course tools display in a grid that can be sorted by any of the column headings. You can also filter the grid by specific tool. If you filter your course tools, any bulk changes you make apply only to the filtered results.

In addition to managing dates, you can open each item in a new window by clicking on its name. This launches the item's edit page where you can edit additional properties for that item without leaving the Manage Dates tool.

Access Manage Dates

Click Edit Course on your course navigation bar, then chose Manage Dates from the list of tools.

Advanced Filter Options

Basic filter options in Manage Dates enable you to narrow your results based on tool choice you make. Advanced filter options enable you to further narrow your results by an item's name, dates, duration, and Calendar status. Click Show_Advanced_Filter  to access these additional filter options.
