Within the next few months, you'll see major changes in MyBlugold. In addition to a new look and location for the existing MyBlugold options, MyBlugold will be expanded to handle many more functions! The new MyBlugold Intranet & Digital Workplace is a set of secure Web pages that provide information to the campus community and support work collaboration through shared documents, lists, and calendars. The implementation encompasses several aspects:
- Creating a campus intranet for informational web pages targeted solely to UW-Eau Claire students and staff.
- Creating a replacement for the current MyBlugold internal applications.
- Upgrading and creating a consistent infrastructure for a digital workplace.
This infrastructure is being created using Microsoft SharePoint 2010. Read more about the planned capabilities and timing in the LTS Projects page for MyBlugold Intranet & Digital Workplace.
Please note: none of these changes affect the MyBlugold CampS system. We continue to make improvements to this software, but they are separate from the MyBlugold change.
