Development and Operations

Development is responsible for administrative applications at UW-Eau Claire, including mainframe, server and microcomputer applications, and databases. Most administrative applications are designed and maintained by in-house development staff. The list of applications is very long. It includes the Blugold System, the Financial Aid System, Transcripts and Accounting, to name a few. This unit is also responsible for the UW-Eau Claire Web. The University Web Coordinator is part of the development staff. Student web and database developers are also housed in this unit.

Operations personnel in this unit are responsible for scheduling and running jobs on the administrative mainframes and performing test scoring.
