Camp Philosophy
Since 1967, UW-Eau Claire has involved thousands of boys and girls, ages in fun and educational activities at a summer day camp. Formerly known as the Gym, Swim, and Dance Camp, the All Sport Camp will provide children with appropriate activities designed to get them moving and emphasize skills necessary for children to become effective at a variety of sports and physical activities.
Activities are structured to provide children with many repetitions and opportunities for cooperation and competition. The camp is intended for children who want to explore a variety of activities and will focus on fun and self-improvement.
Children who acquire physical skills at an early age are more likely to participate in physical activities in middle school, high school, and beyond. Involving your children in this camp will encourage a positive attitude toward physical activity, which can put them on the right track for a lifetime of health and fitness!
Dates and Times
The third and fourth week in July from 9:00-11:30 am for a total of 10 days. See brochure for specific dates.

Activities
Camp activities will include swimming, gymnastics, and one sport activity each day. The activities are designed to increase muscular endurance, aerobic endurance, strength, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance, as well as sport-related skills such as throwing, catching, dribbling, ect. These skills will build a foundation that will help children become better at a variety of sports and activities including but not limited to swimming, football, soccer, baseball, softball, gymnastics, dance, volleyball, and basketball
What to Bring
On the first day of camp, children should arrive with appropriate gym clothing. Appropriate clothing includes a t-shirt, comfortable shorts or pants, and tennis shoes. Please refrain from any oversized clothing, or shirts showing the midriff. Swim suits and towels will be needed on certain days of the week. We recommend that the children bring a water bottle, label their belongings and keep items in their own gym bag.
