The leaders of our Witnessing Communities make up our core student leadership team, the Servant Team.
Our main student leadership team is called the Servant Team because we want to follow Jesus' example of leadership: He served. He didn't serve to become great or popular or gain power of others. He considered service greatness. And so our Servant Team, made up of the leaders of our witnessing communities, are there to serve. To be willing to wash the feet of the chapter. That's service. That's leadership. |

The Servant Team meets twice a month,
on a Monday night to share and pray for one another and the
chapter as a whole, and on a Sunday afternoon for training in evangelism, discipleship,
and other issues. The Servant Team also makes decisions about what happens
within InterVarsity throughout the year, and the members are contacts for
every member of the chapter to be able to have a say in what goes on.

The Servant Team must sign a Covenant. We have a high standard of leadership within InterVarsity, and so we ask the members to sign on to the Covenant that students established and revise yearly. The Covenant is as follows: CovenantWe as leaders have committed together to God and toone
another to the following:
Love God
Love One Another
Love the Lost
