Witnessing Communities are the 

                                                 backbone of InterVarsity.

"Witnessing Community" is a weird word.  But it is what InterVarsity in 

Eau Claire is built on.  Instead of asking people to come to us in order to 

hear about God, we have developed WCs to go to every dorm and department 

on campus to bring the good news to them.  A Witnessing Community is not another meeting.  It is a group of people committed to being missionaries where 

they are.  They may meet to pray and plan,  but it is not about more 

stress or time.  It is about drawing people to 

Jesus through relationship. 

Join a Witnessing Community.

If you are interested in reaching out to those around you in a

way that they can understand and accept, and would like a group to 

pray with and encourage you, join a Witnessing Community.  Check out the list and 

email the person in your dorm or department right away.  If there is not a leader in 

your area, we can help you start a WC, or you can join others in a similar dorm or

department, no problem.  Consider it.  It may be just what you and the

people around you need.
