The IV staff. Here to help 

      and encourage, not run the show.

Yeah, yeah, we know.  It's not a show.  That's a figure of speech. 

The point is, the staff of InterVarsity Eau Claire (four of them grads of Eau Claire  

themselves) are there to help, not tell everybody what they have to do and when.

In fact, the student leadership team of IV (called the Servant Team) developed a list of 

things they wanted from staff, and the staff have been doing them.  InterVarsity is a 

student-run organization.  You run it.  So what do staff do?  Read on...

So why even have staff?

If IV is a student-run organization, why have adult staff at all?  Actually, staff are 

a very important part of InterVarsity.  They do lots of behind the scenes work, serving

students in hundreds of ways they may never know.  They are involved in pioneering 

Bible Studies and Witnessing Communities and discipling students.  Together, they have

hundreds of supporters praying regularly for the ministry.  They help, encourage, confront, 

pray for, disciple, set an example for, share with, build up, and 

care for students like you.  That's staff.
