Social Room Reservation Form

The Towers Social Rooms (Basement Quiet Study Lounge, Game Room, and Multipurpose Room) can be reserved by any Towers Resident or Housing Organization.

To fill out the form, please go to Towers Social Room Reservation Form and fill out the form.The form will be emailed to Ryan Banaszak, the Towers South Hall Director, who will respond with the result of your request.
If approved, you will be able to go to the room at your scheduled time.

All requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance.Last minute requests for weekends may not be able to be approved.

Anyone who reserves one of the Social Rooms is responsible to make sure that the room is in as good or better condition than when you arrived.This includes all furniture returned to the starting positions, dishes washed and returned, and all supplies accounted for.

Failure to follow these procedures may result in persons or groups losing the ability to reserve the room again or may be charged for cleaning.

Social Room Attendant

The Social Room Attendant (SRA) will monitor the social rooms to make sure policies and reservations are followed.They will check the condition of the rooms after a reservation and will update the daily reservation schedule.
The SRA will also have the oven keys for when the kitchen is requested in the reservation.The SRA will have the key for the kitchen supplies which are stored in the kitchen and will also check out supplies for the Game Room.

Multipurpose Room/Kitchen


  • Open 6AM-12AM Sunday – Thursday
  • Open 6AM-2AM Friday - Saturday
  • Able to be reserved for wing events, programs, and meetings
  • Use Social Room Reservation Form for requests
  • Room Features - 3 Large screen TVs, tables, chairs, couches, white board, AV access, two ovens, refrigerator, 2 microwaves
  • Please specify if you plan on using the ovens during your reservation. A key will then be provided.
  • Purpose of the room – A social gathering area where groups can hold meetings, RAs can have wing events, large scale programming, residents can hang out, study, cook, watch TV, and have fun.
  • This is NOT a quiet study lounge.

Game Room


  • Open 6AM-12AM Sunday – Thursday
  • Open 6AM-2AM Friday - Saturday
  • Able to be reserved for wing events and other programs
  • Use Social Room Reservation Form for special requests
  • Room Features - 2 ping pong tables, foosball table, Large screen TV with Wii hooked up with access for other game systems, tables, chairs, small TV
  • Ping pong paddles and balls, and Wii games and remotes are available at the SRA or front desk.Only available with a Towers Activity Pass
  • Purpose of the room – A social gathering area where residents can play ping pong, foosball, and video games. This is NOT a quiet study lounge or meeting area

Towers Commons


  • Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • Able to be reserved for wing events and other programs
  • Use Social Room Reservation Form for special requests
  • Room Features - Large screen TV, tables, chairs, couches, piano Purpose of the room – A social gathering area where groups can hold meetings, RAs can have wing events, large scale programming, residents can hang out, study, play the piano, and have fun.This is NOT a quiet study lounge.

Basement Quiet Study Lounge (Next to weight room)


  • Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • Able to be reserved for wing events and other programs with Hall Director Approval
  • Use Social Room Reservation Form for special requests
  • Room Features – Tables and chairs Purpose of the room – A quiet study lounge.

1st Floor TS Quiet Study Lounge (Across from elevators)


  • Open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • Able to be reserved for wing events and other programs with special Hall Director approval
  • Use Social Room Reservation Form for special requests
  • Room Features – Tables and chairs
  • Purpose of the room – A quiet study lounge.
